Day 1
Calgary
Arrive at Calgary International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city, why not head up the Calgary Tower for views over the prairies and distant Rocky Mountains?
Day 2-4
Banff
Your scheduled transfer will take you to Banff where you have two full days to explore this charming mountain town. Relax in the historic Hot Springs, head up Sulphur Mountain on a scenic gondola ride to enjoy incredible views of the 6 mountain ranges that surround the town or take the riverside path to the beautiful Bow Falls. We recommend taking a day trip to the stunning Lake Louise, located just a short scenic drive away from Banff.
Day 5
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery as you travel from the snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior.
Day 6
Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Step back on-board Rocky Mountaineer as you continue west towards the Pacific Ocean. On today's journey you will see more changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. interior through winding river canyons and past the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.
Day 7
Princess Cruises
Arrive independently at the cruise terminal in Vancouver’s picturesque Canada Place ready to board your cruise to Alaska with Princess Cruises.

Day 8
At Sea
Your first day is at sea as you sail north towards Alaska so take time to explore the ship. There’s always something happening on board — from heading to the Princess Theatre for a lavish original musical production to enjoying a blockbuster movie poolside under the stars. Or perhaps indulge in a manicure, pedicure or a makeover in the salon, or a soothing massage in the Lotus Spa.
Day 9
Juneau
Juneau is unlike any other city in the United States. With no roads connecting it to the rest of Alaska or North America, it is truly a protected destination. Founded as a gold mining town and now the state’s capital, Juneau has one foot in history and one in the future. Embark on a whale watching tour or sail past Mendenhall Glacier on an Alaska cruise.
Day 10
Skagway
Once the gateway to Alaska's Gold Rush, Skagway strikes a dramatic image nestled between the water's edge and mountains. Follow in the footsteps of miners with a ride on a scenic train along the famous White Pass route through coastal mountains. During your Alaska cruise, explore the Yukon's pristine wilderness, pan for gold with professionals or meet sled dog puppies in training.
Day 11
Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier
On this day of scenic cruising, you will sail up Endicott Arm, a jewel in Alaska’s crown. This 30-mile waterway is surrounded by cliffs, valleys, and dozens of waterfalls. Icebergs and harbour seals decorate the water below while Dawes Glacier soars into the sky above. Revel in the beauty of Mother Nature’s masterpiece and listen closely as the scenery whispers secrets of times long ago during your cruise to Alaska.
Day 12
Ketchikan
Known for its timber, Ketchikan hosts the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, where athletes throw, race, and chop their way to victory. Explore one of the world’s oldest collections of totem poles at the Totem Pole Heritage Center or stroll along Creek Street. As the salmon capital of the world, Ketchikan’s waters make for incredible fishing. Cast your rod into a sea of opportunity on a cruise to Alaska.
Day 13
Inside Passage
Sit back and relax as you cruise the famed Inside Passage, a spectacular route through a protected network of waterways, featuring glacier-cut fjords, lush rainforests, and diverse wildlife. Vancouver
Disembark you cruise in Vancouver where you now have time to explore this enchanting coastal city. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island to discover a world of food, art and culture or take a shuttle bus over to the North Shore and the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 70 metres over the Capilano River.
Day 16
Fly Home
Your adventures in Canada and Alaska have come to an end. After some last-minute sightseeing and shopping, transfer independently to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
