Day 1-2
Banff
Welcome to Calgary, on arrival you are transferred to the mountain resort in Banff. Join your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner. Connect with nature as you join a First Nations Cree Iroquois Local Expert on a guided walk in the Boreal forest and discover the Indigenous world of plant medicines. Absorb the First Nations culture as you learn about the historical and modern day uses of plants and listen to fascinating stories. Later choose from a range of optional experiences available to make the most out of your day.
Day 3
Lake Louise
A marvellous day awaits as you, so have your cameras ready, as you set out to explore treasures of Lake Louise. Choose a journey on the sightseeing gondola as you enjoy a hike surrounded by panoramic views. Alternatively, join the tour director for a relaxed stroll along iconic Lake Louise. Indulge in a delicious lunch before returning to Banff and enjoying the rest of your day at leisure.
Day 4
Icefields Parkway
An exciting start to the day with a visit to the glacier-fed Moraine Lake. It doesn’t stop there, next the journey continues along the stunning Icefields Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives on the planet. Later, a warm welcome greets you at the country’s first and only glacier-view resort, where you will savour a Canadian inspired, locally sourced dinner. After dinner take advantage of the long daylight hours and set out for a private visit to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, a glass-floored walkway above the Sunwapta Valley.
Day 5-6
Jasper
Start the morning with a truly special experience, before other travellers arrive, as you venture onto the Athabasca Glacier on the Ice Explorer. Once in Jasper, explore the trails of Maligne Canyon the deepest gorge in the Jasper National Park with your Travel Director on an informative walk. Later embark on a narrated cruise (weather permitting) across the serene waters of Maligne Lake and stop at Spirit Island, one of the most photographed sites in the Canadian Rockies, it’s truly a picture-perfect moment.
Day 7
Kananaskis
Today you're back on the road, enjoy the scenic drive to Kananaskis and your upscale hotel nestled in the wilderness. Take time to relax at the resort and take in your surroundings of mountainous beauty and modern comforts. Tonight, come together with your fellow travellers for a festive Celebration Dinner and toast to your wonderful trip in the Canadian Rockies.
Day 8
Fly Home
After breakfast you are transferred to Calgary Airport where your journey comes to an end, until the next time.
