Day 1-2
Vancouver
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. The next day is yours to explore this enchanting coastal city. Stroll the historic district of Gastown, which is home to fabulous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, take flight at Flyover Canada or join a whale watching tour and go in search of BC's resident orcas.
Day 3
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like interior.
Day 4
Rocky Mountaineer to Lake Louise
Your journey onboard Rocky Mountaineer continues eastwards towards the mighty Canadian Rockies. Marvel again at the spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and of course, through the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
Day 5
Lake Louise
Spend the day at Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in the world. There is plenty to see and do here so take a canoe out on the lake, hike up to the Lake Agnes Tea House, have lunch at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or visit the nearby Moraine Lake for breath-taking views down the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
Day 6-7
Banff
After a relaxing morning in Lake Louise, join a half day sightseeing tour of Yoho National Park and its many natural wonders including Emerald Lake and a stunning natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. At the end of the tour your will be transferred to Banff. The next day in Banff is yours to explore independently. Downtown Banff is the ideal place for gift shopping and has many different restaurants and bistros to choose from for your evening meal. After all the excitement of the last few days, spend time relaxing in the thermal waters of the historic Banff Upper Hot Springs, a magical experience that has drawn visitors to Banff since 1886.
Day 8
Calgary
Today you will enjoy a full day sightseeing transfer to Calgary. Start by taking the Banff Gondola up to the top of Sulphur Mountain to enjoy incredible views of the 6 surrounding mountain ranges that surround the town then enjoy a tour of Banff, including Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos. After free time for lunch, enjoy a cruise on Lake Minnewanka (season dependent) before leaving the mountains behind and taking the journey down to Calgary. End the day with a stroll down 8th Avenue, lined with historic buildings that now house an array of restaurants and bars.
Day 9
Fly Home
Your Canadian adventure has come to an end. Transfer independently to Calgary International Airport for your flight home.
